Our "Birds of a Feather" inlay design is taking flight on a Core guitar for the first time ever in the all new Custom 24 Birds of a Feather Limited Edition! This 360 piece run pairs a stunning fretboard design previously only available on Private Stock models with the iconic Custom 24 body to make a spectacular celebration of craftsmanship, identity, and the enduring spirit of the guitar that started it all.
Originally designed by PRS Director of Manufacturing Paul Miles 10 years ago on a trip to Japan, the Birds of a Feather fretboard inlay was previously celebrated in the Private Stock 30th Anniversary "Birds of a Feather" Hollowbody I Limited Edition. Now, paired with the Custom 24 platform, this model marries wide-open tonal character and effortless playability with an inlay pattern that elevates it to an instrument equally suited to the stage, studio, or private collection

I have always been fascinated with inlay work and PRS has afforded me the opportunity to see the evolution from hand cut shell to intricate CNC work.
