Limited to 200 instruments in 2025, the Chleo is a seemingly dramatic departure from classic PRS design, but its craftsmanship and quality are wholly PRS. Let's take a deep dive into a few of the standout specs and features of this guitar.

The Chleo features a remarkably thin mahogany body paired with a flame maple top, making it light-weight enough to play all night long, but sturdy enough to handle high-energy stage performances night after night. It's sculpted carve allows the most weight-relief possible without sacrificing tone or playability. The Chleo's input jack is set deep inside the base of the body to keep your cable out of your way, and looks great too. On the back of the body, you'll find a deeper "knuckle cut" at the base of the neck so you can reach for those high notes with rapid precision and total comfort.

Moving on to the neck of the Chleo, you'll quickly notice those are no bird inlays! Herman Li's signature model also features signature inlays: the eclipse dragons. The Chleo's set neck has a 20" radius that’s addictive to play and also features a double-locking nut. Additional features include jumbo frets, glow in the dark side dots, and scalloped frets at the high end for extra control when you’re digging in.

Meet Herman Li's new signature Fishman Fluence "Omniforce" Hum-Single-Hum pickup configuration, designed to play anything from metal to soft jazz, with an extreme range of clean to heavy tones. Each humbucker features three unique voices which can be accessed through the push/pull pots giving players multiple pickup combinations to choose from. Flipping the guitar over, there are two micro switches located on the backplate of the guitar, one to disable the tone knob to keep your tone set, and a second to switch the default voice of your humbucker pickups. Additionally, there is a USB-C charging port that powers the Fishman Fluence system--a full charge will last you for weeks!

Omniforce Bridge Humbucker

• Voice 1: A thick, open-sounding passive-style tone — smooth and powerful without losing clarity, designed to stay articulate even in dense mixes.
• Voice 2: A more focused tone, closer to traditional passive pickups, with greater midrange precision and refined attack.
• Voice 3: A fully re-voiced single-coil sound, inspired by Herman’s favorite classic guitars — bright, clear, and highly dynamic.

Omniforce Middle Single Coil

Specially designed to complement the humbuckers across all voicing modes, the middle single coil adds extra sparkle and articulation. Positioned low and close to the body, it stays unobtrusive during high-speed playing. (Available exclusively on the PRS Chleo).

Omniforce Neck Humbucker

• Voice 1: A smooth, articulate tone for leads and rhythms, with crisp definition and warm character without muddiness.
• Voice 2: A traditional passive-style voicing with tighter frequency focus and a natural, organic feel.
• Voice 3: A true single-coil tone offering lively, expressive dynamics reminiscent of Herman’s favorite vintage single-coil guitars.
