PRS Guitars Sponsors 16th Annual Health Fair

On 9/16, PRS Guitars, a leading guitar manufacturer of high quality instruments, hosted their 16th annual Health Fair at its Stevensville factory. Employees were encouraged to visit with the 15 vendors onsite including a free Acupuncture clinic and massages from the University of MD Shore Regional Health Center for Integrative Medicine. Onsite biometric testing, as part of PRS’ Wellness program offered BMI, Glucose, Cholesterol and BP testing free of charge. Employees were treated to a healthy lunch and music by three employee bands that kept the party vibe flowing.
“One of our missions in the HR department here at PRS Guitars is to educate, encourage and promote wellness within our diverse workforce” stated Christie Woodard, Human Resources/Safety Manager “The Annual Health Fair is something that veteran employees look forward to while new employees get to see first-hand how their health and wellness, and that of their families’, is important to us.”
Newly hired, Eireann Molloy commented that the Health Fair was “Very informational and a lot of fun – Never had a job do something like this before!”
To top off the event, participating employees were entered to win 19 prizes donated by PRS and the Health Fair vendors including an Xbox 360 or PS4.
