PRS Guitars Presents the 2014 Collection Series by Private Stock

*A Highly Limited Collection of Acoustic and Electric Instruments

PRS Guitars is proud to officially announce the 2014 Collection Series by Private Stock. Introduced in the fall of 2011, the PRS Collection Series is made up of a very limited number of instruments each year that are made with the most prized components in the company’s possession, using PRS’s most exacting methods. Paul Reed Smith, along with the Private Stock team, designs and oversees all aspects of production, including the selection of all woods.

The 2014 Collection Series is comprised of one steel string acoustic, one nylon string acoustic, and one electric model. These instruments proudly incorporate a balance of PRS traditions and innovations. The 2014 Angelus is an exquisite example of the company’s acoustic luthery, featuring PRS’s bracing and pickup system. The 2014 Nylon String instruments will be among the very first nylon string acoustics made by PRS. They feature Torres-style bracing and are handmade under Paul’s direction by PRS’s Senior Acoustic Luthier Michael Byle. The 2014 Electric features a pernambuco neck and mammoth ivory “Museum Bird” inlays. Full specifications are detailed below and can be found HERE.
