In 1985, PRS Guitars introduced the Custom 24 guitar which has ultimately been said to have “ushered in a second golden era of guitar making.” Years later in 2005, the Stevensville, Maryland manufacturer expanded their imported SE line of instruments with the SE Custom 24 model, which is made to PRS’s exacting specifications at a more affordable price point. Just as the PRS Custom offerings have expanded inside of the company’s Maryland-made Core line of guitars, the SE line has now broadened to three distinctly different Custom 24 models: The classic PRS SE Custom 24, the popular SE Custom 24 7-String (introduced in 2013), and the new SE “Floyd” Custom 24 (new for 2014).

“DG Custom 30,” “DG Custom 50,” and “DG 2x12 Cabinet”

Developed and refined over many years, the PRS David Grissom signature amplifiers “DG Custom 30” and “DG Custom 50” and signature “DG Custom 2x12 cabinet” bring David’s discriminating tone to players looking for a highly-responsive, musical amp rig. “I've used them on hundreds of gigs and sessions and found them to be equally well suited to both live situations and studio work. Both amps do their own thing, and are far from knockoffs of any classic designs that boutique makers often strive for. I'm excited and proud that these amps are now in production. I'm hopeful that other players will find them as inspiring and musical as I do,” said Grissom.
Experience PRS, now in its seventh year, has become a significant part of MI calendars and PRS history. Each year, PRS opens its doors and creates an exciting and interactive schedule, including free-flowing factory tours, interactive guitar making (hosted by the PRS Private Stock team), artist clinics, recording demonstrations, and evening concerts. But, this event has become more than an open house for PRS fans to have a “backstage pass” at the PRS factory in Stevensville, MD. With an incredible selection of PRS instruments on display, it has become a destination event for players to pick their next PRS guitar or amplifier. Recognizing this, PRS built several limited edition instruments for the 2013 event.
