Setting The Pulse: Meet 4 PRS Artists Playing Praise & Worship
Posted Dec 17, 2024
In this edition of "Setting the Pulse," our series highlighting Pulse Artists from around the world, we are taking a look at four musicians within the praise and worship sphere. We proudly present Swiss guitarist Daniel Britt-Stocker, and from here in the United States: Leeland Thompson, Luc Heidenreich, and recent Pulse Graduate Dimitri Peters.
Daniel Britt-Stocker
Daniel, our first Pulse Artist from Switzerland, is entering his second year in the program. Coming from a background in progressive metal, he spent years performing in a band called WeRDust before joining the St. Gallen chapter of the ICF (International Christian Fellowship) worship band. Ultimately, he would transfer to ICF Zurich in the winter of 2018, where he found his home. A typical year for Daniel with ICF Worship entails up to four European tours, two musicals, conferences, services and annual EP releases.
“With the Pulse program, a dream that I have been nurturing for 15 years came true. I was now allowed to be a PRS Artist and the first person to do so in the small country of Switzerland! This has encouraged me to give it my all again and all the musicians who are part of the worldwide ICF Movement have seen that this is also possible for us. The cooperation with PRS is great - they are all such good-hearted people, and I feel the support of the Artist Relations team every day. Also, through this Pulse program, I was able to make a deal with my local dealer (MusiX) to have PRS guitars of my choice sent to my home for free so I can test them live on stage!” - Dani
Leeland Thompson
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, but a long-time resident of Mississippi, Leeland is also entering his second year as a Pulse Artist. Picking up both the electric guitar and bass at age eight, Leeland has been playing professionally since eighteen. In addition to his skills as an instrumentalist and performer, Leeland has arranged and produced for multiple musical collectives from all over the world. Leeland currently serves as the lead guitarist for John P. Kee & New Life Community Choir, Darrel Petties & Take 2, and Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Olive Branch, also known as “The High Place”. He is also the recipient of the 2023 Golden Triangle Award for Male Musician Of The Year.
“Being a PRS Pulse Artist has allowed me to connect with so many other amazing guitarists across the globe and has introduced me into a family that truly honors their artists with instruments that cater to our needs. PRS is more than just another company, it's a family for guitarists who love quality instruments that can be used in any genre of music. I've played PRS Guitars way before becoming a Pulse artist and I've found that every PRS Guitar that I've ever played is in a class of its own. The reason I play PRS Guitars is simply because every note feels alive in my hands, crafted with precision, built for performance, and infused with soul. It's more than just a guitar; it's an instrument that inspires my music and elevates my sound." - Leeland

Lucas Heidenreich
Luc Heidenreich has been playing in Christian churches as long as he has been playing guitar. He has served in several churches across multiple states and has had the opportunity to make music with some really amazing people and deepen his own faith along the way. Luc is most recently serving at Cross Point church, where he is playing guitar and music directing at multiple campuses around Nashville, TN.
"I am so blessed to be able to glorify God and lead others to Jesus through electric guitar! PRS has been my guitar of choice and a staple in my Sunday morning rig for over 10 years because these guitars allow me to consistently bring my best to the platform. There is something really amazing about breaking down the barriers between the band on stage and congregation so that we can all worship together. The excellence that the PRS team brings to building their guitars helps me do that by eliminating any distraction caused by my instrument not working exactly the way I need it to. My goal is to think less about playing guitar and more about worshipping God and ministering to people. PRS guitars help me do this every time!"
“We talk often in church about how we can better serve others. I have been truly blessed by how Travis, Bev, and the rest of the PRS team have been able to serve me as a musician through the Pulse Artist program. I have consistently felt supported and appreciate it so much!" - Luc

Dimitri Peters
Having recently “graduated” to the status of Official PRS Artist, Dimitri has formerly been a proud member of the 2024 class of PRS
Pulse Artists. Starting his journey with the guitar at age fourteen, Dimitri
was playing in the church by sixteen - in addition to picking up other gigs in
the greater Nashville area. Dimitri currently calls Texas home, but since 2019 travels
full-time nationally and internationally in his current role with recording
artist, Eddie James. He’s graced stages in Canada, Belize, Nigeria,
Israel, South Africa, and all across Europe. He's also had the opportunity to
work with other artists/ministries including Tamela Mann, Sean Feucht, Crystal
Aikin, and Christ For All Nations, as both guitarist and music arranger.
“It’s a dream come true to be a part of the PRS family. To be recognized by your favorite guitar builder is truly an honor.” -Dimitri
