PRS Is Heading To SXSW 2016!

We’re in Austin, TX this week taking part in the world-famous SXSW music festival!

For the next week or so, SXSW completely takes over the city of Austin. If you’re on the search for new music, there is no shortage of options! Over 2,200 regional, national, and international acts performed as last year’s festival and the same turnout is expected this year. Hundreds of shops and bars are converted to makeshift music venues where multiple genres of music are represented: hip-hop, indie-rock, folk, jazz, and many more.

For the past few years, PRS has been on site at the SXSW Gear Expo where we have a booth for guitar fans to plug in and jam! The “Shred Shed” is a fully isolated booth where players can grab a guitar, close the door, and turn it up.

Thursday, March 17 | 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Friday, March 18 | 11:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday, March 19 | 11:00am - 6:00pm

We will also have a handful of PRS artist signings and performances at our booth. Check out the performance schedule below!
