Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Announce New Halloween Tour, 'Daft Side of the Moon'
Posted Oct 22, 2021
Maryland’s own masters of funk, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have amassed a substantial cult following in recent years based on relentless touring and of course the strength of their live show. In this time, certain traditions such as Domefest, the band’s very own annual music festival, have become central experiences within The Flock. No different are the Pigeon’s celebrated holiday gigs and the band has just unveiled the details surrounding this year’s highly anticipated Halloween run.
Dubbed “Daft Side of the Moon,” Halloween 2021’s theme will see the band mashing their original tunes up with songs from Pink Floyd’s venerable catalog, then blending in a generous helping of electronica via legendary DJ duo Daft Punk. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are promising unique setlists across all three shows, which will each receive opening support from Denver electro-funk trio SunSquabi.
