John McLaughlin to Auction Guitar And Watch Inspired by 'Is That So?' Album

Legendary fusion maestro and PRS artist John McLaughlin has long been an aficionado of fine watches and of course, guitars. He has found a way to combine these passions and raise funds for a good cause all at the same time. McLaughlin commissioned a very special one-off guitar and watch set to be auctioned as a pair, with all proceeds benefiting Duchenne muscular dystrophy research.

John co-designed the watch with Independent Swiss manufacturer ArtyA. For our part, we have offered a McCarty with a top hand painted by artist Marq Spusta. Both the watch and guitar feature artwork derived from John’s 2020 album, Is That So?, and are set to be made available through the famed charity auction Only Watch 2021 on November 6^th.
