Celebrating Make Music Day With the Release of Paul's Perfect Pour

On June 21st we celebrated Make Music Day with the help of our friends at Cult Classic Brewing right here in Stevensville, Maryland. The night featured live music and the release of the Paul's Perfect Pour beer, along with a raffle to win a one-of-a-kind Paul's Perfect Pour guitar, benefitting Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom!

Make Music Day is a global celebration of music - founded 42 years ago in France. The founders imagined a sort of musical holiday - a day where "free music would be everywhere: street corners, parks, rooftops, gardens, and store fronts." We joined the celebration along with 1,000 cities in 120 countries!

THE MAKING OF PAUL'S PERFECT POUR

Paul's Perfect Pour was an endeavor that has been months in the making! Paul, PRS staff, and the talented team at Cult Classic collaborated to curate a signature beer that not only honored Paul, but was a refreshing drink he truly loved. After some sampling and tweaking, Paul and the Cult Classic team found the perfect ratio of Irish Red and Kolsch ales blended together to make what would become "Paul's Perfect Pour." If you're ever in the area you can try it out yourself, or bring home a six-pack with can art featuring an illustrated version of Paul!

On stage at the release party, PRS COO Jack Higginbothom celebrated the partnership by gifting an SE Custom 24 wrapped in the Paul's Perfect Pour artwork to the staff at Cult Classic.

A second identical guitar will be raffled off with proceeds benefitting Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom, a non-profit dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to have hands-on learning experiences with music across all education levels.

Over the course of the night, four bands made up of predominantly PRS employees played a wide range of music - a perfect way to spend Make Music Day!
